Transform Your Engineering Degree Into National Impact

E-CAMP is the 12-week Engineering Career Accelerator & Mentorship Programme that bridges the gap between academia and industry. Born from a partnership between Young Engineers Connect (YEC) and the Zimbabwe Institution of Engineers’ Graduate Engineering Professional Career Indaba (GEPCI), we equip young engineers (0–5 years’ experience) to become PPP-ready Composite Professionals.

Orientation: 4 July 2026
Limited to 30 Seats
100% Zimbabwean Context
Backed by YEC × GEPCI

Technical Excellence Alone Is No Longer Enough

GEPCI successfully opens the door between academia and industry, introducing graduates to professional pathways, employer expectations, and career navigation. But an introduction isn’t enough. Young engineers need a structured, mentored journey to transition from technical trainees into nation-building leaders.

E-CAMP is that pathway. We close the gap between classroom theory and real-world PPP delivery by combining personal leadership, national systems thinking, and hands-on project structuring into one focused, locally grounded programme.

A 12-Week Journey From Blueprint to Bankable Project

Built entirely around two Zimbabwe-developed textbooks, E-CAMP delivers a practical, mentored experience through three integrated modules. Each weekly 2-hour session follows a proven rhythm: concept delivery → case-study deep dive → hands-on concept building → reflection. No internet or additional software required.

Module Focus Source Text
Weeks 1–4:
The Renaissance Engineer
Emotional intelligence, strategic communication, resilience, ethical leadership & career planning Beyond the Blueprints, 2nd Edition
Weeks 5–8:

Backed by Industry, Aligned with Professional Standards

Developed in partnership with Young Engineers Connect and aligned with the Zimbabwe Institution of Engineers’ GEPCI initiative, E-CAMP is designed to complement CPD frameworks, support Pr.Eng/Pr.Tech readiness, and deliver measurable talent pipeline outcomes for Zimbabwe’s infrastructure sector.

Formal partnerships with ZIDA, ECZ, ZIE, and IDBZ are currently being pursued to position E-CAMP as a recognised domestic certification that meets international PPP foundations while remaining locally grounded.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is E-CAMP for?

Young engineers (recent graduates to 5 years’ experience) in civil, electrical, mechanical, environmental, or related fields who want to transition into PPPs, infrastructure development, and national-impact leadership.

Do I need internet or software during sessions?

No. All materials are delivered via slide decks, printed templates, and physical copies of the two core textbooks. Sessions are designed for low-bandwidth, high-impact delivery.

What if I miss a weekly session?

Session slide decks are shared within 48 hours. Homework and Concept Note feedback continue via WhatsApp/email, but live attendance is strongly recommended for mentorship quality.

How is certification awarded?

Certification is granted solely on the evaluation of your Bankable PPP Concept Note using our standardized rubric. Top concepts are shared with PPP stakeholders and the E-CAMP alumni network.

Can my company sponsor me?

Yes. The Corporate Package ($2,000 for 5 seats) includes a tailored Concept Note clinic and priority facilitator access. Contact us for invoicing and group onboarding.
